My name is Liz Watt, and I established BLT’s Executive Coaching division to complement BLT’s longstanding, award winning recruitment business.

Enabling individuals to fulfil their potential underpins BLT’s philosophy  and I believe that Executive Coaching is a natural extension to our recruitment service. Our existing clients will be aware that BLT is known for ‘inch wide, mile deep’ technical expertise, a high degree of professionalism, an ethical approach and focus on delivering an excellent client and candidate experience; BLT Executive Coaching adheres to the same brand values.

As a recruiter, my particular passion is around  Retention of Key Talent. This is a key strategic  issue for most organisations, especially in niche markets where very specific skills and experience are sought.  Over the years I have encountered many situations where valuable resource has been lost to a business when the use of an appropriate Coaching or mentoring  programme might have resulted in a more positive outcome. I work with businesses that view retention as a fundamental part of their business strategy.

  • Future Life: Are you ready for the opportunities and challenges that retirement presents? This modular programme will help you put a plan in practice.
  • Future Talent: Aimed at the Rising Stars out there – this programme will help you negotiate the career ladder and provide the skills to make the most of your potential.
  • Future Health: A programme aimed at individuals returning to work after a sustained period of illness.
  • Future Parent: Returning to work after parental leave can be daunting for women and men. This programme will help you to successfully manage the transition.

  • I have been Managing Director of BLT for 8 years and a Director of the Company for over two decades, and therefore I can demonstrate sound business skills and long term experience of mentoring, developing and managing teams.
  • I have worked with a huge range of professional service firms and businesses over the years and this experience enriches the service I deliver as a Coach.
  • I am a qualified Executive Coach and a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). I subscribe to the EMCC’s code of ethics.
  • I am a member of the Aspire Foundation mentoring scheme.

My pricing model is adaptable, depending on the investment your business wishes to make. I offer the following options:

  • Individual Coaching programmes; every client is different but I usually suggest six  1.5 hour sessions
  • One-off ‘helicopter’ sessions to tackle a particular issue in one go
  • Group Coaching
  • Workshops
