A new role with a leading VAT and Customs boutique consultancy business.  They are seeking a Customs Consultant to join our team their Indirect Tax team. They are looking for a customs expert to help their clients navigate the complex landscape of international trade, ensuring strict compliance with customs regulations while optimising supply chain costs. Their clients will need expert guidance on import and export procedures, applicable reliefs, tariff classifications, and international trade agreements. The ideal candidate possesses a good understanding of customs legislation (e.g.the Union Customs Code, UK Customs regulations) and a proactive approach to mitigating supply chain risks.
