Our client is a successful impact investment organisation who do amazing work to support small and medium size businesses and entrepreneurs across East Africa.
They seek an individual to head up their Business Development and Pre-Investment work for the Western region in Uganda. The role will likely be based out of Mbarara or Hoima with high levels of travel.
This role requires a balanced skillset of portfolio management, investment opportunity identification, ownership of pre-investment targets, pipeline performance and BD budgets, team management – including training and mentoring BD agents, and investment quality control and oversight.
This organisation’s mission for nearly 15 years has been to unlock the potential of SMEs across the region with a package that goes beyond the finances, but an investment in data and business support too.
It is a great chance to help lead and grow their work in the region for someone with experience of the region, social / impact investment, portfolio management, team leadership, budget oversight and business development.
Please note the budget for this role is per the local market and up to $3,000 per month.
