PARTNER – BOUTIQUE FOOD & BEVERAGES CONSULTANCY, London and International – Excellent package – six-figure base + significant sales upside

Sometimes what seems complicated at first is underpinned by complete simplicity. Take this opportunity for example…

This boutique strategy consultancy is seeking a new Partner to be part project deliverer, part business developer, part subject matter expert and part strategist. However, they won’t compromise on the blue-chip background, impressive sales record with a top-tier consultancy or the track record within the food & beverages space – so suddenly this complex-sounding requirement becomes a very simple one; you’ve either got it or you haven’t.

They take the same approach to their work; they focus squarely within the food, beverages and food manufacturing markets and the leadership are considered as genuine thought-leaders in their fields. They are exclusively from top-tier with backgrounds such as blue-chip consultancies and FTSE 100 firms – so suddenly operating in a deep and hard-to-penetrate market is not so complicate. They are able to make the complex look easy and deliver when no-one else can.

Their focus areas are among the most important and influential topics of the moment including alternative proteins, nutrition & wellness, packaging/recycling and food production. So the foundations are well-set, the reputation and brand is in a good place and there is a significant launchpad for more and more growth.

The new Partner will lead ~£500k projects, deliver significant £multi-million new sales and work with the Managing Partner to set the current and future direction of the firm.

Let’s make it simple again. The right candidate will have the following;

  • At least 10 years of experience in a strategy consulting house
  • A number of years in food, beverages or food packaging
  • A good sales/business development record
  • Strong project experience in due diligence (buy side or sell side), M&A, market entry, diversification, corporate strategy
  • Some industry experience is desirable
  • International experience or an international network is desirable (though not essential)

If this sounds interesting and if you match the strict criteria above then do send a CV to Tariq at tas@blt.co.uk or apply through the website.
