Founded 10 years ago they deliver business and digital transformation, change and project management solutions to blue-chip clients across a range of industries including major government departments, multi-million-pound financial service firms and leading international charities.

They are seeking a Manager for their consulting practice – a team which delivers tailor-made assignments to governments, NOCs, multinational oil companies, energy traders, upstream/downstream independents and energy services firms.

The Manager will lead engagements, develop proposals, help manage client relationships, lead small teams, conduct hands-on advisory and deep-dive analysis work and take a leading role in helping develop new propositions, services and products for the market.

Any successful candidate must have the following:

  • energy sector experience with a management consultancy; or projects/analyst role in the energy/O&G market; or energy analyst role within financial services
  • undergraduate degree from a leading university (postgrad qualifications a bonus)
  • a strong background in research with experience of the energy industry and related commodities markets (crude and refined products are of particular interest)
  • preferably experience in structuring and leading projects, managing teams
  • highly numerate with experience of analysing large data sets quickly and accurately
  • a strong understanding of the drivers and trends across the energy industry

Fancy upsetting the Business Banking apple cart?

If you’d like to be part of a start-up bank that focuses its energies on the business world we may have something of interest.

Have you ever thought about setting up and being part of the Risk and Compliance function for one of these shiny new banks? Yes? Good. This role will work alongside the Chief of Risk & Compliance as they get things ready and compliant for their go-live date which is the first part of next year. This will be an incredibly busy role where the vagueness of a Start-up will tap you on the shoulder at every turn, so if you are someone who likes a bit of variety and volatility in your 9-5 this will probably appeal to you.
