UK VAT SENIOR MANAGER / ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR / DIRECTOR, Birmingham/Nottingham

An exciting opening at a one of the larger global accounting networks. This team is incredibly busy and needs further resource to help with the next stage of growth. You will need refined technical research skills, advisory know-how and a strong ability to build trust with clients / colleagues. If you are looking for increased responsibility in your VAT career – this is the opportunity for you. Due to the senior nature of the role you will need:

  • Expertise in either a particular industry sector or a strong UK VAT advisory knowledge.
  • Deep technical knowledge of UK VAT law, recent case precedent and HMRC guidance.
  • Knowledge of developing issues / opportunities that can be presented to clients.
  • A pro-active desire to contact clients for relationship-building and advice.
  • An ability to help colleagues and clients through uncertainties with practical recommendations.
